The main difference of Zen Pai and Acupuncture is that, acupuncture involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the body, while Zen Pai therapy uses bare hands to apply manual pressure to those same points and meridians. Both therapies stem from Traditional Chinese Medicine and aim to promote the free flow of energy (qi) effectively, but acupuncture penetrates the skin, while Zen Pai is non-invasive, comfortable and protect your skin and muscles. You may fall asleep during the session.
WHAT TO EXPECT -
You wear comfortable clothing, and we will put on layers of cotton blankets on you and over your head. You will feel you are in a safe in the enclosed space.
Your body temperature may increase during the session, sweating is because your body is detoxing. Make sure you drink plenty of water, keep yourself hydrate for the day.
You may have 'buzzing' sensation after the session. It is because your meridians are unblocked and blood is flowing nicely. This sensation should go away within 30 minutes.
Cover your body with clothing and keep your body warm. Your pores will be wide open during this detoxing period, it's important to avoid catching a cold.
We recommended you maintain your health and immune system by booking Zen Pai session regularly (every 2 to 3 weeks).
